Thanks to the expertise of Silcock Dawson, client Legal & General has received an impressive return on its 3300m2 office and banking hall refurbishment and extension.

Situated in the city of London, the building which was constructed between 1914 and 1916, has been transformed into a multi-tenant office.

In addition to advising the client and design team regarding Part L building regulations, Silcock Dawson ensured the design met the requirements of the British Council of Offices for a typical air conditioned development. This required a sympathetic approach in order to accommodate the building's low ceiling heights and structure. Other design services by the firm included a combination of under floor and ceiling ventilation.

An EPC has also been completed for the development.
