Full refurbishment of an existing five storey Office block of 75,000 sq.ft. located in Judd Street, London, W1, to form a new Headquarters building for the RNIB.

The refurbished building was designed around the needs of visually impaired people.

The refurbishment was a full Category B fit-out with active chilled beam cooling to the upper floors and a ducted all-air system at the lower level.

Chilled beams were selected not only for their low running cost but to reduce background noise levels.

A fully adjustable lighting control system has been provided to enable lighting levels between 100 and 180 WX.
