New build Medical School to house the first Institute of Palliative Care in the world.

The building will house academics, researchers and carers, and will accommodate members of the public suffering with terminal illnesses. The building will also provide facilities for patient’s respective families to visit on a regular basis.

The engineering services design strategy is based around using as much natural ventilation as possible and to be as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible.

It is expected that the Institute of Palliative Care will be viewed as a landmark building providing palliative care research facilities.
