Silcock Dawson & Partners
Silcock Dawson & Partners was established in 1984 and are a leading firm of Building Services Consulting Engineers offering a wide range of Consultancy Services throughout the United Kingdom and Europe. Since 1984 the Company has grown progressively and currently employs over 40 permanent staff at our head office in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire.The business is wholly owned by the Senior Directors which allows us to focus on what is right for our clients whilst maintaining a tightly knit management team and a well-run profitable business.
Our Scope of Services includes the whole spectrum of building services engineering including core services such as Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health services engineering, Condition and Acquisition Surveys, Report and Advisory work, Feasibility Studies, Building Physics Modelling for Energy Performance and Thermal Comfort, Construction Monitoring and Supervision, Project Management, Cost Control, Expert Witness and Planned Maintenance advice.
We also provide additional energy consultancy duties allowing us to support planning applications, BREEAM assessments, decarbonisation funding applications and building regulations approvals for example.
We are active and experienced in nearly all construction market sectors, including Residential, Student Accommodation, Education, Commercial, Industrial, Retail, Sport and Leisure, Healthcare, Hotels and Commercial Leisure, Community, Government, Science and Research, Defence and Historic Buildings.

Our Project Team structure is characterised by short lines of communication in the organisation. A dedicated Project Engineer is assigned to each project who provides a single point of contact with the Client and other members of the Clients Design Team.
The Project Director is fully involved in each project from inception to completion providing continuity and maintaining a close identifiable relationship with our clients.

Peter Lindsay
Managing DirectorPeter has been at Silcock Dawson since 1998, starting as a Senior Engineer and becoming a Director in 2014. He has established an excellent track record in delivering complex projects through his ability to recognise key design issues and challenges.

John du Boulay
DirectorJohn joined Silcock Dawson in 2007, becoming an equity partner in 2024, and has over 30 years of experience in electrical engineering across multiple sectors with an established expertise in Education, Student Accommodaton, Residential, Hotel and Commercial Leisure, Heathcare and Sports and Leisure schemes.

Paul Russell
DirectorPaul has over 25 years of experience in electrical services engineering mostly attained during his tenure at Silcock Dawson & Partners, becoming an equity partner in 2024. Paul uses his extensive knowledge to provide quality and innovative solutions to changing design challenges, particularly in projects in the Residential, Retail, Commercial and Industrial sectors.

Eamonn Molloy
Regional DirectorEamonn is a Chartered Engineer and has been in the construction industry for over 45 years, joining Silcock Dawson in 2005.
He has a wealth of experience across a wide range of project sectors including Airports, TV Studios, Retail developments, Police Premises, Road Tunnels, Railways, Infrastructure, Offices, Hospitals and Education facilities.
